xOverview "Frieze & Garland" is the most architecturally beautiful piece in the "Ivory Cantos" series. On a crisp organza base, it features alternating horizontal bands of wide and narrow embroidery in a pure, tone-on-tone thread. The wide bands contain ornate classical medallions, while the narrow bands feature light, vining garlands, creating an overall design full of classical architectural rhythm and harmony.
Design Inspiration Inspired by the decorative friezes of neoclassical interiors and the delicately hand-embroidered borders of antique linens. The designer sought to reinterpret this orderly, paneled classical aesthetic in a light and transparent way.
Craft Details
Mixed Stitch Embroidery: The fabric's sophistication comes from a combination of embroidery techniques. The large medallions in the main bands are crafted with a mix of dense satin stitch and open, lace-like fill stitches. The connecting garlands are rendered in a lighter, more delicate outline stitch, creating a rich textural contrast.
Tone-on-Tone Aesthetic: The entire fabric, from the base to the embroidery thread, is a unified ivory white. This "white-on-white" design maximally highlights the structural beauty of the pattern and the textural differences of the various stitches, appearing exceptionally pure and elegant.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We will only cover the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).
